but to answer your question, 6LE is a reputable member of the site, has contrubuted a lot of unique designs and makes everything right here. honestly, ill probably go with the cheap ebay grille as well, but the 6LE piece is worth every penny.

You totally can do that and I'd recommend anyone what wants to save some bucks do that.

I'm just here for the peeps who don't...

I pay $40 shipped (per grille) for my grilles (but they come to me 10 at a time in a large box), I pay $8 for the box I put them in, $10 for shipping, $30 ($20-$25 if in larger amounts) for powder (so my cost is already $88 before paypal fees) and I charge $100.

So, I make $9 for my time, hence why I don't push my grilles on here

P.S. The bowtie grilles I HATE because I realize I make even less money as I pay OVER $80 for that damn emblem. I get it from here:

Starts off cheap, $57, but after S&H $19.95 and tax $5.07, the damn thing cost me $82.97 not including the hardware to attach it.

So, I do it more as a service than as a profit maker but it does draw people into the store so I keep doing it...

The SS emblem is cheaper than the bowtie (I pay I think, not looking at it, $30 shipped) BUT I've yet to find a company who sells one that doesn't have the black paint rubbed off before I even get it so I just pay to have those re-powdered at the same time, adds $30 to the cost not including the high temp tape I use to tape it off (would cost me more if I paid them to tape it off) and the hardware to attach it.

Like I said, if you don't like the price MAKE YOUR OWN. It isn't hard...
