Default Guys with painted wheels come in

What kind of products do you use to protect the paint? Is there a special wax recommended?

I just was with soapy water and let it be. those stronger wheel cleaners will try and strip the paint.

I use a little bit of wheel cleaner and a very soft brush every couple of weeks. It's really hard to tell when they are dirty which is very nice

Swissvax has a wheel wax, and a few other companies. Go check out Autopia, there is a lot of useful info.

You can use regular wax... I have for years...

Also, a quick spray wax on wheels at every wash helps, and its easy.

i sprayed mine with rattlecan epoxy paint for appliances, it came out great, nice shine, good chip resistance. yes do not use really any sort of wheel cleaner, i use a plastic brush. i dont find the wax repels the brake dust more or makes them easier to clean tho... just wash your baby weekly!

Mine are powdercoated white from the factory.
I use a microfiber cloth with some mother's carwash, it's not really necessary because any brakedust just wipes off clean with a bare hand. I wax them every couple of months, just to keep them clean though.
