for the cost, looks a lot better, but for more of a cost there are better options.

none the less a cheap and effective mod.

Thanks everybody. The black background is actually black vinyl duct tape. It turned out a lot nicer than I expected.

Lol looks pretty fair for duct tape, but it would bug the **** out of me if I could see seams from tape behind the grille. Much better than before. I masked mine off and fogged with flat black. Turned out gret, but it is permanent.

Haha I knew I would catch some hell.

I just used the tape to see if I would like the look of it blacked out. When it warms up some and I get some extra time I am going to spray it with flat black. This is just temporary. You can't see any of the seams either, which I was surprised.

That is a nice grill man.

I wish I could find a old school Z/28 emblem for cheap to slap on mine.

Oh the rock chips. I have plenty too. haha

Thanks I just need to paint the badge red. And you can find those retro z/28 badges on ebay that would be really sick. And yeah I have to have it painted within the next few weeks. I know a guy who will do it for $150 and does an amazing job.

I always thought the same thing but that's how they came on the old Camaros (so that's how I install them)...
