Default Will 2006 corvette rims fit my 1999 Formula LS1?

Currently, I have 2001 corvette rims on my car. 245/40/17 in the front and 275/40/18 on the back. I had to hit the back piece of my car a bit to make them fit, but it didn't take much. I can get a good deal on some newer 2006 corvette rims with a trade. They are 275/40ZR18 GOODYEAR run flats on the front, and 285/35ZR19 GOODYEAR run flats on the back. Will these fit? Or, am i wasting my time?

you should definitely consider posting this in the wheels and tires section. you'll get more hits there.

I believe you need a set of spacers for them.

OEM Corvette C6 wheels in the sizes you posted bolt right up with the addition of a 1.25 ADAPTER for the rear because of the 79mm offset. Fronts go right on.
If you search you will find a bunch of threads about it...

As I suspected!

I think my buddy had some on his LT1 Camaro and he just beat the fender well in with a BFH. Lol

I beat the fender in on mine already, lol. Wouldn't that be enough? Or is this even going to be a tighter fit than the ones i have? If so, how much is a spacer?

Although some cars have gotten them to fit by beating the inner fenderwell, they will have a somewhat "sucked in" look. 1.25" ADAPTERs bolt to your existing hub, covering the stock lugs, then the wheels bolt to that. 1" works, but then you have to grind your stock studs about 1/8". You can find lug-centric adapters on Ebay for $60 shipped. Look for SAE grade 8 equivalent / Metric 10.9 hardware. C6 rears are a different offset than C5 wheels...
