I think he means stainless steel. If anyone is looking for these search the appearance section. There was a thread with a guy selling these not too long ago.

I'm going to assume he means the ones that actually say SS on them. I remember a year or two back that was this big thing, pedals that had SS, Z28, WS6 on them. I think then there was some trademark issues, don't remember exactly.

I went with a set of SRP pedals. Hey it rains in FL, ever go to heel-toe with wet shoes? Not a issue anymore.

^^^Those are clean, you would think the company would send you some matching screws for them though.

Well I stand corrected. That seems pretty silly to me. How often are people going to get down and see that your pedals say SS or whatever on them.

If I remember correctly I purchased mine at a place called dynoproauto or something close to that. I think they were a sponsor a few years back but I am not so sure they are in business any longer

They are stainless on all 4 pedals, the brake and clutch you drilled through and used those bolts with a lock nut on the back, the dead pedal and the gas pedal use a stainless self tapping screw, to screw into the plastic. I positioned the bolts so that I wasn't go through where the pedals were welded. I wish I could have installed the attaching hardware symmetrically, but the way the back of the pedals were I didn't see how I could pull it off.

SRP was a sponsor on here, they might still be, I don't keep up on that. When they first showed up here they had a sale, I jumped on it.

^^^^I understand your reasoning for how you managed to place and drill the screws. My pedals installed the the same way. I guess I should have given more detail to my post. What I meant when I originally said matching screws was the color of them.

It would have been nice if the company would have sent the screws with the same black finish that the pedals have on them to match.

You can definitely place the screws symmetrically...see here:

I mounted mine just like this guy. Can't find the pictures I took though...

I bought billet pedals for my car back in 1999 from rksport. I have not seen them on anybody else's f-body. I will have to post pics. They are high quality.

Ah I understand now, I suppose if I'm ever bored I could paint the screws black.

Yeah the screws not being symmetrical really doesn't bother me though. I wasn't too worried about looks, I was going for function. I really did go for a left hand turn one day with wet shoes and my foot slid right off my brake pedal during heel-toe.
