What kits are out there for 93-97 birds? Theres a ton of kits on ebay, but im sure most of them are junk. So post up what HID setups you LT1 guys have found are good quality. Thanks!

This is mine which I made. It's gone through some mild changes but I'm using a FX35/45 Bi-Xenon projector. Entirely plug-n-play

At the time probably around $500+ but the prices of the components have come down a touch since then. I used all new stuff and some OEM HID components which added to the cost. The time to do everything once I had it all figured out was another story. The lens was thermoformed by myself as well as all the other non HID hardware.

I believe the cost was justified for it being unique and literally blowing away any other "kit" on the market.

You can do it for half that now (less if you look around some more). Check out The Retrofit Source for parts.

Yea I've checked that website out a lot. The FX-R units they sell are pretty nice and very affordable. Have new gen3 ballasts come down in price as well?

The parts I was unable to make at the time were the wiring harness which included the connectors for the FX high/low solenoid. I think that ran me like $80 bucks which I'm sure cost the person that made it maybe $5 lol.

The complete FX-R package (projectors, bulbs, ballasts, and shrouds) is $370 at The Retrofit Source. They have aftermarket ballasts and gen3 ballasts. You can tell them to skip the shrouds if you don't need them which will lower the price.

I built my own harness for half that. The connectors for my setup were the most expensive part.
