Default Need your opinions on a hood!!

Okay, so now that I've decided to hang onto the 99...I did a few things. Tinted all the marker/tailights, and bought an SS spoiler for it. No pics of these mods yet...weather is horrid, and the spoiler isn't painted yet..sorry.

The last appearance mod I'm considering is changing the hood...so since everyone here was very helpful in the keep or sell it thread, I figured I can turn to you guys again for your thoughts/ideas/opinions.

Here's the car...love to hear your ideas!

The SS hood does look good... but everyone and his brother has one. That's the only thing I have against it.

gotta agree with the pack on this one, your car would really look good with an SS hood. for some reason, its just not screaming out sunoco to me.

honestly, i like the car as it sits now, with the original hood. so it doesnt "need" a hood to me. but another hood that will retain a very simple, clean look would be the 2.5" cowl harwood hood:. http://www.eharwood.com/catalog/prod...?productID=400
-the hood the inspired the harwood- whistlers old hood/car

ha! that was my EXACT vision as well. i just didnt know if you wanted to get into any type of stripes or anything like that. but yeah, i think that's probably one of the best looks you can get. especially with the way everything else looks. that would fit in perfectly

Just the manta on the hood though..I don't want to carry the single stripe to the spoiler or trunk.

The sun came out briefly today, so here's some driveway shots of the new additions, including a new Emblem Pros LS1 badge. Don't mind the missing spoiler

I have an SS car and love the hood.. but if I ever had a hugger car it would be a Sunoco without a doubt.
