Default Polishing Stainless Steel?

First of all: I'm not a machinist and don't have a machine shop at my disposal.

O.K., now on to my question!

How can I bling-bling some stainless steel? I just got my brand spanking new GMMG chambered exhaust and I've got until Monday to sit and stare at it until I can get it installed.

I tried some Blue Magic metal polish and some Zaino, but it looks the same to me as before I started???

No dremel tool or whatever available, so can I do something rather simple in the next few days to bling-bling this thing or am I stuck with stainless steel colored?

Thanks!

The only thing you can pretty much do is get them polished by a shop. I had to goto a motorcycle shop that does chroming and polishing.
I had to pay about $80 for them to polish my B&B tips
and they came out pretty good but after a few months they kinda went back to how they were, didnt help that my car was running really rich either

heres what i did

went out got a varible speed dremel
got 2 polishing kits that dremel sell, comes with many differant size tips
I used some normal Mothers metal polish and went to town.
it took 2.5 to 3 hrs the first time I did mine, but that was after it was one the car.
there is no big secret to doing this just take your time and just keep going over the same spot over and over again.
Mine turned out nice enough that I meet a guy at a car show, we lived close to each other I went over to him place and I did his for him.

Good luck
if you did not install it in the car yet that would make it so much easier.

Wild Child,
It's not on the car yet, it's in the box, so that makes it way easy!
What attachments do I use on the Dremel?
Home Depot had a big box of attachments for the Dremel on holiday sale but I wouldn't know where to BEGIN with a tool like this?
Can you tell me specifically what attachments to use?
I don't want to just burr into it and make it look worse.
Thanks!

Yes, have it professionaly polished or do it yourself. Now is the time since it is off the car. Blue Magic is to keep it shining like chrome.

Here is a link to a write up I did.

Polishing Procedures

Also while you are under there paint the heat shield and area between the bumper and axle.

Here are a few pics of my polished Borla...

Amazing Results!
I'm going to study your instructions and see what I can do here at home.
My detailing/chrome dude is closed until January, so I hate to wait that long!
