was gonna get the short cowl.. but i plan on putting stripes back on my cobra. so i figure the wide cowl hood would be better.. its hard to bend vinyl stripes on a non-flat surface.
its for my 04 cobra

^^thanks.. people usually talk bad about it because of the decals and Roush side skirts. but oh well.
yeah i'm gonna go with the 2nd hood. the wide one. it'll be easier to put stripes on.
is $404 shipped a good price?
229 for hood
145 for shipping
30 boxing fee

honestly, i like it, but at the same time i dont.
i like it - because i like the style/design and the way the look fits with the car
i dont like it - because its height. it seems like a bit much. i would really love it if it were a slightly smaller cowl overall (height wise) -personally, I'm not a huge fan of very tall cowls on predominately street driven cars. but thats just me. I've actually seen a mustang in person with a hood that looked just like this, but it seemed lower, and i really liked it. maybe seeing it in person it does not seem as large (the angle this was takin at also affects how large it seems, so it most likely does not seem as high when looking at it from a standing position). also it was on a black car, which tones it down a bit as well.
but, with that said, i really do like it overall. and would be glad to drive it with that hood on it exacyly as is. which is MUCH more than i can say about some of the hoods that a lot of people throw on f-body's.
