Default Dirty rims, need help?

Ok, so I got my chrome ZO6 C5's last year and i love the way they look, except, i kinda let em go for a month or two on detailing. Now they are stained, and starting to fall apart. I want to fix this before it gets too bad. I'm wondering if anyone can direct me on a good product to get rid of the stains and get em looking at least close to new again? They are whiteish stains mainly on the front wheels, if i need to post pics i will try once all this snow melts

I use any type of Chrome polish from an Autostore. I believe Turtle Wax has a polish that I've used before with good results.

Mine are badly in need of a good cleaning once the car comes out this spring. I need to look into getting something as well.

I use that Fast Orange Hand Cleaner for stubborn dirt/grim build up on my rims. I have not had anything get on my rims that I could not get off with that stuff. It is really a great product. I normally just use old tooth brush or my fingers to rub in the Fast Orange to clean the rim, then wash it down with car soap and a sponge, then wipe the rim dry and finally use a rim polish to give it a clean look/shine and for some addition protection.

Here is the Fast Orange Cleaner, You can get it at any Auto Store:

If it's chrome it should work just fine. I've cleaned all the grime and **** off the inside of rims with it to.
