Default Can it be fixed?

Hey, i know this is a well known problem for 4th gen firebirds. I just bought a 2002 t/a and both the doors are cracked in same place yada yada. What havent you heard? With an hour of reading in both ls1.com and here i was made aware i CAN fix some cracks but never seen if they were all the way through the plastic thing. if i can fix the cracks. the crack has extended from the top iof the panel to the leather part area thing. So...i was wondering if i do the take off staple thing and then figure a way to close the gap on the cracks and throw some touch up stuff from the local wally world? What is your opinion? Oh if i have to replace..can i order from my local GM dealer? or am i royaly screwed in searching for a wrecked car or such, Thanks for the assistance in advance =). Please dont get TOO mad at me if i missed an answere that was obvious.
