Re: What is a 'swirl mark'? look at your cars paint in the sunlight, usually seen at an angle. you will see light circular scratches all over your car. They are caused from washing your car.. nothing you can really do about it. You can buff and wax your car to minimize the appearance of them.. thats what i do <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> They show up more on black cars..
