Default Engine compartment Questions

Ok I am going to be swapping an LS2 in to my TA and I am going to be doing a little work to my engine compartment. I have been looking at a lot of threads about this and this is not going to be a show car so I think I am really trying to restore it and just keep it looking good. I just bought this car last year and it has been driven in the snow rain and everything in between. Anyway this car has lots of corrosion from all the salt and grime. My question is can I restore a lot of these parts or should I just buy new? If I should buy new do you have any links where to buy the parts such as ground studs, brake lines, and nuts and bolts ETC..... Thanks for your help!

Most parts stores carry those type bolts and nuts, but you can take your time and clean and repaint just as easy

Ya I can't seem to find what I'm looking for at the parts stores around here. Hell I might just try relocating some of this stuff. Wasn't the plan but might be worth it in the long run.

DO you just want stock stuff thats doesnt look old and rusty? If so find someone in classifieds thats parting out a lower mile southern car and all that stuff should look good and be dirt cheap.

Hey that's not a bad idea as well. I'd like new but if I could get some used stuff way cheaper that'd be great!

Lol ya I've been staring at the kit since he posted the link. One more question. As far as the brake lines for the abs could I polish, paint or replace these? Mine are corroded really bad and there is some rust on the nuts.
