Default Wheel queston for 02 WS6

I have a set of wheels. They are 17" eagle 5 spoke. They fit on my SS. I have someone wanted to buy them, but they are afraid they won't fit there WS6. He told me that is stock wheels are different offset front to rear and he had to put the same back on or it will rub his brakes because WS6 have bigger rear brakes.

I figured that he just tried to swap fronts and rears and that is why they wouldn't fit. Also I figure that the offset on my wheels should fit front or back because they are the same.

What do you think?

He is an idiot...4th Gen cars all ran wheels front and back with the same offset. It was 3rd Gen cars that were different.

I thought that, but I have never had a TA so I wasn't sure. I know my 92 Camaro was that way, but that's a 3rd gen.
