Default Replace Parking light with led strip. Possible, thoughs?

I was thinking about this on the way home tonight, saw an e class with the led daytime running lights, looked pretty sick.

Was thinking about putting on clear corners, and somehow replacing the parking light bulb with a strip similar to the pic below.

have been looking online for led strips, but the only ones i can find have really small bulbs and look kida cheap. I really like the look of less, but larger bulbs.

I really know nothing about lighting so hopefully someone here can help.

any thoghts on how to do this, and/or if you think its a horrid idea.

yeah if you look on any of the sites referenced in the led int/ext threads (vled, superbrighleds, etc etc etc) they usually have those led strings. from there just take your time and be creative with factory/ebay housings and definitely post up when youre done.

IMO it can be done and look great or it can look like doo doo.

thanks for the link. not exactly what i was going for, but the info is helpful. I want to run maybe 5 or 6 led's total on each side. use a little bit larger ones and space them apart a little farther.

anyone know where to pick up the bulbs/led sockets?

Not sure if this is what your talking about, but type in audi light strip on ebaymotors and they are strips of leds and it shows some in headlights and stuff. Maybe this helps.
