tinting my taillights quick question

i read the sticky in the newbie section but something wasnt answered. when i put the amount of tint spray that i want and its dry do i scuff it with 1000 really lightly or should i wetsand them then put the clearcoat on?

no, just clear them. if you want to do wetsanding/buffing after, do it after the clear. just make sure you add enough coats of clear to have a really good layer, so you dont sand through to the paint.
