Default Magnaflow catback fitment

For those who have the 4th gen Magnaflow catback with slash cut tips, has anyone else found that the tips stick out a little too far and hang down too low?

I was never been happy with the way they looked on my 94 firebird even after making every adjustment possible. I ended up cutting about 3/4" off the ends and replacing the rubber donut hangers with shorter ones to bring the whole back end of the exhaust up and it looks MUCH better!

I had that problem on my old Z. The tips were super far out, AND the exhaust didnt meet up with the factory hangers...Had to go to an exhaust shop and get new ones put on and the whole system adjusted slightly... =( BUT I now have a Hooker exhaust on my current Z and cant wait to get another Magnaflow!! It is my fav sounding one that Ive heard
