Default silver gauge face overlay

I just noticed that after 8 years the section that covers my engine temp gauge has either shifted or the sticky backing seeped into the area that should pass light. Either way, I can't read my bottom left gauges clearly.

Has this happened to anyone else? Know who sells the silver gauge faces with the WS6 and fire chicken logo?

You sure it isn't just a blown bulb? That happened to me, the temp and oil PSI gauges got very hard to see. I replaced all the bulbs with LEDs.

At any rate, if you need/want new overlays, 6LE has a GP going on right now.

I didn't even think of that. That makes more sense. Do LED's make a big difference? do you need to solder in resistors to switch to LED's?

Dude, DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY on bulbs. They are CRAP compared to LEDs (when you buy the RIGHT LEDs).

No, I do NOT sell LEDs BUT I have a sticky on my forums of which ones to buy...

Thanks 6L, I knew in the back of my mind that of all the LED's there is one brand that would be recommended and was afraid I'd by the crap ones.

BTW - can you confirm how many I need?
And I have the silver gauge face, what color would you recommend? I'm thinking to stick with red since all the other lights are red... thoughts?

There are 5 LED's that light the entire cluster. then there are 3 more that work the turn signals and high beams. The grand total is 8 and you really dont "need" the last 3. I just put them in so I'd have all new lights. I did my turns in green and my high beam in blue.
