Default 6litreatr black billet grill

Last fall I bought a powder coated black billet grill from 6litreatr... well I finally installed it today lol. It was really simple, the factory grill came off relatively easy,, just make sure to lift and pull from the bottom. I ran a piece of blue masking tape around the perimiter of the grill to protect the paint... Luckily the paint behind the factory grill was nice and glossy, so I decided not to paint it. Not to mention the impact foam behind the bumper was already black(not sure if they are all that way), so no painting was needed!!
Here is a pic of it installed, it looks alot better than the factory grill lol...

I would get a piece of black vinyl and cut it to fit behind the grille, that way you won't have to worry about painting it, and it will look 10X better

yea Im not to sure if i like the red behind it myself... But I didnt want to paint over such nice paint! Thats a good idea on the vinyl, I got a guy that makes decals down the street,, think Im going to see what he can do! Either way its still an improvement over the stock grill imo.

I do like black tops, my last f body was that way and I loved it! I will most likely keep it solid, since its actually more rare... I think all 1sc strippers were solid color, but not 100% sure on that.

Thanks guys!! Im pretty happy with it... I was just lookin at it again earlier and its kind of growing on me. i think the pic makes the red behind the grill stand out more. When you stand in front of the car, its not nearly as noticeable,, must be because of the viewing angle.

I bought one during the winter and put it on a few weeks ago. It's a nice looking piece. I'm still up in the air on if I'm going to paint/vinyl behind mine as well. I need to get a pic of it, but its a major upgrade over the stock grille and the no grille look that I was rocking for a few years.
