Default Carbon fiber sheets

Anyone ever used the carbon fiber sheets... I've beeen considering incorporating it in my paint scheme but I wonder how thick it is. Like would it stick out on the exterior of my car to where it wouldn't be attractive?

You can duplicate the look of carbon fiber without having to put real CF on the car. A good painter can do it and will look great.

What would you be doing on the exterior? Like kyles2000z said also, a good painter could make it look a lot better, or even get something coated by emblempros.

I would say also to get it painted, I have seen an integra.. Actually (my neighbors) it had the hood, roof and trunck done in carbon fiber paint.. and it looked amazing..I didn't know the difference until I actually touched it.. and looked at it extremely close

I don't think they make a paint that will lay down like carbon fiber. I bet its a 2-3 stage step to achieve the look of cf.

I've never painted it but I've watched people paint it and they layed down a charcoal base, then layed this anti slide drawer and cabinet foam that comes on a roll and sprayed black over that to give it the look of the squares in the carbon fiber, then put some black candy over it to give it depth before clearing. Looked really good but took along time

No such thing as carbon fiber paint..yet anyways, but if you do paint it the idea will be explained pretty decently in this video...even though it didnt come out "perfect" you'll get the point. Good luck with it!
Im not promoting these pple in any way its just a video i searched for to help out the guys who want some sort of illustration.

What I mean was that the hood looked great.. I touched it and it was then I noticed some of the flaws. the trunk for example had the holes still from when the emblems got removed.

Just watched that vid, we do that to our guns and call it snakeskin or use the bigger mesh and called dragon scales .... IMO just go with the real deal or get some Di-Noc, the real stuff looks like it has a depth to it ... Most of my body is unpainted carbon fiber it almost flip flops from black to a pale gold

Mr. "Iyyob". purchasing a carbon fiber hood, deck lid, and spoiler were my first idea. Idea and id probably enjoy the hell out of the carbon fiber and all of its "flip flopping" abilities. But my hood is brand new just paid 330 for it and replacing it with a $2500 carbon fiber one is out of my budget. So this idea is my next alternative. Maybe ill use a "flip flopping" color like a pearl gold silver to give it more of that effect. Idk long story short flip flop flip flop flip flop flipp flop HAAA HAH. AHHA HAAA LMAO
