Default ? for slp grille owners

i just got mine yesterday i bought it here used and noticed it doesnt have any holes in it to mount it, double sided tape should hold it fine but just found it odd that this one didnt have them. so how does yours mount.

mine had holes on it. double sided tape will hold it but you still might want to atleast drill 1 hole on each corner or something

I'm going to guess that this is a repainted grille. Whoever had the grille before you must have had the holes filled when they had the grille re-painted. Only thing I can think of.

BTW. Double Sided 3m tape works perfectly. I bought it at autozone. When I had my SS grille I just put a crap ton of it cut into pieces all over the place. Never fell off. It took quite a bit of force to pull that sucker off once I sold it..

Got my grille back in 2001. Didn't come with holes, just the 3M tape. Still as snug on my bumper as it was on day 1.

i know the double sided tape will hold we use it all the time, and i knew the holes had not been filled because there was no repair places on it. was just curious on why there were no holes but i guess know we know it must have been an early production
