I have a friend that built a turbo'd '01 WS6 and he's looking for that billet license plate insert. I'ce seen them on a few different T/A's in magazines but none say who makes it. Does anyone have a clue? The link below shows the grill I'm looking for.

people make them from what i know of. but i have tried to make one myself but i still want the bird to stay there.

but if a company did make them. they would sell very good

LOL, you'd be amazed at how ghetto it is to make one of those but if done correctly it'll look great.

Basically you cut out all except about a 1/2" of the center of the plate cover. Get a cheapo waste basket & cut off a big chunk of the expanded metal sides. Trace your cutout for the hole onto the metal leaving some material oversized to epoxy to the back side of the plate cover. Attach with epoxy & paint how you like. Very simple really.

you can also get the stuff to do it with at Lowes to like the metal insert stuff
