Default Corbeau seats

Hi-Anybody install these w/ seat brackets in there 98-02 F-body? How hard or easy was it? Did u use your existing seat belts? I'm looking to replace my carpet & seats also add sound deadening material when I have carpet out. PICS would be nice. Should it be done professionally or can it be done at home in the garage?-the kits are make & model specific.

THANKS

Yeah, I just swapped a set of bomz racing seats in mine, and there is no way to make my power brackets work I ended up using the sliders that came with the seats, and making pedastals and welding them to the sliders,, By the way a little FYI,, the seats in these cars do not mount square, they are offset by almost 2 inches, and the rear of the passenger seat has almost 2.5 inches of air between it and the floor. So the passenger pedastals were considerably taller. All In all what a PITA It was.

the corbeau brackets that you can buy from corbeau work perfectly and everything is simple and bolts right up. You'll have a lot more fun installing the carpet and sound deadening.

I hear that Corbeau doesn't sell their brackets unless you get them with the seat purchase. Either way, I made my own for a fraction of the cost. Let me know if you need measurements and pics. I am running Corbeau A4's and have moved them in and out of two birds without issue.
