Default powder coating and heat

so i'm getting my control arms powder coated without the bushings installed (dont want to melt the rubber parts) and i have a question. i mangled the upper arms pretty good removing the old bushings (dont worry, i fixed it with a table vice and a mallet) and i dont want to tear up my new powder coat putting the new ones in so i'm gonna toss the arms in the oven and the bushings in the freezer and push them together really fast...

question: will putting the coated arms in the oven hurt the powder coating? i know they have to heat them up to get the stuff to melt on in the first place, so is heating them up going to make it run or flake?

It could. Most powder coatings cure at 390 F. Make sure you stay away from that magic temperature and you should be good.

you should be good around 300 degrees or so, i wouldn't go much higher than that though.
