Default License plate bracket removal

Well, my car has one of those dumb brackets stuck into the grille and they use a rivet gun to put them in. Well, I currently don't have a rivet gun so was wondering if there was another method that could be done to get the bracket it off?

I searched and never found a thread where they say how they get it off without a rivet gun/tool.

Can't you drill out the rivets with a drill and appropriate size bit? That's the way I've always done it.

Yup, just drill 'em! Though I think with mine I just put a screwdriver behind the rivet head and they popped off, mine werent very strong.

drill them or change the look of the car just by pulling off the grill itself the bracket is located on that black plastic grill correct?
