She looks great. Looks exactly like mine did stock. Lowered with some wheels will look even better

As far as appearence is concerned no... I don't think it made a single difference. It made a difference in how it feels though.

Before claybar:

After claybar:

I think it would probably make a bigger difference appearence wise on a darker or white car, but with our color it doesn't seem to do much honestly.. Feels extremely smooth though.

Here's the deal about clay bars...they only make a difference if they need to make a difference. If there's not much "stuff" stuck to your paint, it's not going to pull anything off.

I just clay'd my car and it didn't remove much either...I pulled some stuff form the lower half of my doors but everything else was clean. I used McGuiers NXT quick detailer and NXT wax after the claybar, and it looks great.

As far as "how hard" it is to do...I thought it was easy. The clay bar glided across the paint very easily, except for hitting a dry spot that the quick detailer didn't get.

For $20 or less, it's worth it. Your car looks great, but I suspect that the paint color combined with the setting sun in the pictures didn't quite do you justice to how deep the paint looks.

Here's my best reflection pic. You're right paint does look really good and did get rid of some stuff. In reality it was good for my paint to do it and that's probably what matters the most. It does look good and for the time it took, maybe an hour?? it was worth it to me.

And I used Meguires gold class paste wax

I would rather have a raptor hood. Lots of $ though. I would rather put that money into performance mods.

Thats a good Hood too. The Sleek beak is nice but I by far get more compliments on the WS.9 (From US Exotics) then I ever did on the Sleek Beeker.

couldn't agree more on the 315's. I want them so bad, but money is just tight... Just had a baby and it's kinda difficult to afford things at the moment...

I have gotten most of my 97's surface cleaned with a clay bar session. After having it for 8 years without it being done it needed it. I still have to dismount the spoiler to get at the underside of it and the decklid hidden beneath
