Default Baby car seat for F- body?

What baby seat are you guys using in the back of you f body? She will be twenty pounds soon so I will be able to use a forward facing seat. Have looked at the simpson seat and think it will work. Any suggestions would be helpfull.

Those back buckets are really tight, I had to stack blankets under the car seat to get it level since most seats now are really wide at the base. I haven't seen any that will fit down into the rear seat yet, good luck...

This seat fits perfectly in the buckets. I have one for my son, not pink of course, but works awesome. http://www.skjp.com/product/97556/18...SL%26%23174%3B

Only had to install it once, when I took the family with me to a car meet. As said before I had to put some rolled up towls under the seat to level it out as the rear buckets are pretty deep. We have the Britax Boulevard seat for our son. Here it is:

We have a big Eddie Bauer front facing car seat and it gets pretty tight back there. That one stays in my wifes car 90% of the time. We bought a cheaper and smaller second car seat that seems to gives my daughter more room. But we don't all pile into the car all that often so it works out.

Yup, but good invenstment if you ask me. BTW - That is the regular seat that is installed 99% of the time in my wife's suburban. Just move it to the TA if I take him with me in the bird.

I've had f bodies since my son was 3 and have never been able to put his booster seat in the back. No authorities, to include guards at the Air Force base, have ever told me that I need to get him a bigger seat.

I know this is down the road for you but there at least is something to look forward to.

well this is the only seat my son has, so i move it between my daily driver and the camaro (which he only goes in 3-4x a year) ... Do you mean you are looking for a dedicated seat for your camaro?

I have this one, and it fits perfect and my son is 3.5 y/o and roughly 38lbs. It'll hold him up to 75lbs I think.

Here he is about a year or two ago. I simply move the passenger seat up and he's fine back there.
Note, I guess the car isn't that loud considering he fell asleep quite easily.

For everyone questioning the price, do yourself a favor and read up on baby car seats. If your kids are important to you, the last thing you want is to see them get hurt because you didn't want to spend the extra money on a car seat. If I get hurt, I can live with that, but to know that my son or daughter got hurt because of a decision I made is something I could never live with.

Yup, Britax is expensive, but they are also the safest and best on the market. Safety with my son is something I won't penny pinch on!!!

Considering the safest rated car seat year after year is a Britax and they are roughly $300, it's cheap compaired to what we spend on headers, cams, tires, etc etc.

Don't get the Simpson one, there is little to no padding and hard as ****. I had one for a little but changed it to something a little cheaper and more comfortable.

Its not that I am skimping on the price I understand saftey is the first thing. Its just when my little daughter will be with me I will maybe go about 4 miles from my house. Not on any major roads all streets in a town of about 3500 people. Its not like traffic is crazy. If I was goin any kind of distance I would hands down buy the Britax. Just a little over kill for what I am going to do. We have a very nice one for my wifes car but it does not fit. We just need one to fit in the TA and that is all it would be used for.

I had a problem with any car seat fitting in my WS.6 because of the buckets. So what I did is took the rear bottom seats out and made a flat platform that is bolted in and upholstered. I also only have the kids in the car to go to a local car show on Friday's. It was some work but car seats sit nicely now. Adults don't fit as well anymore due to the loss of height from the bucket being gone. No adults never sit back there anyways plus I can swap them out if needed.
