Question Removing Road Paint From Rocker Panels

Well I have a few spots of white road paint on my rocker panels I'd like to get off. I've scraped off what I could with my finger nail. The rest seems to be adheared quite well. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to remove this annoying splattered paint with out damage to the base coat clear coat?

"Goof Off: the miracle remover" should do the job. its in a yellow can with red writing. not sure if they sell it at auto stores, but i know home depot and walmart carry it. it works wonders

Depending on how dry it is I have had good luck getting it off with a clay bar

Good question. It was on there when I bought the car last summer. I assume some one must have drove throught a spot of wet paint. It's really not to bad. just a few spots and one little streak. You can't see it unless you really bend over to look for it. I'm just **** and prefer them to be gone. LOL!!
