ws9 hood rubs When i bought the hood i didn't know it was going to rub my lid. i got a slp lid and the hood is already painted so i was wondering what i could try to get it to quit rubbing the lid. it has already rubbed the paint off a small portion of the hood and the lid. any help?

sand down/cut the hood. that would be the best fix
i just cut like a 2x4" piece of towel, and adhered it to the section of the hood that hit the lid, so now there is like a cushion in between, so i have not had any problems with the clear i sprayed on my lid chipping/peeling from the contact
