Default HID Harness Install

I bought 2 DDM harnesses, one for 35w lowbeams and one for 55w fogs. I can't figure out how to get these things to work.

I can hook the HIDs up without the harnesses and they work fine, I just can't make them with with the harnesses. I know the fuse leg goes to the positive terminal and the black one goes to negative. So I think it might be a wiring issue.

I think it may have something to do with reverse polarity and the harness being wired opposite or something but I honestly have no idea.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Make sure you ahve a good contact for the ground on the harness.

I have 4 HID kits and one of them came reversed, my money would be on that.

I can hear a click from the relay when I plug the male connector coming from the original light into the harness. It just won't turn the HID on

Ah, I see, I assume this is what you have.

The only other thing that I can think of is either a bad ground or power connection. Although it's possible that the new harness is hooked up wrong. I'd get a voltage meter, hook up your new harness and check socket 30 on the relay connector and then I'd make sure that the wire from pin 87 goes on to the positive side of the HID igniter box.

Flip the connections from the harness to the ballast and try to turn them on.
