Default Looking for seat foam!!

Anybody know where I can buy new seat foam. I mean the actual molded complete foam pad, not some repair material. I need the drivers seat bottom foam. My covers are fine for now, but won't be if I can't get the foam.

Don't know where to get F-body stuff, but the foam is widely available for Y-body cars, along with stock style seat covers.

From what I've heard they're discontinued from GM. I dont know anyone aftermarket who makes it.

I put some 1" (I think it was) general foam from the craft store in my seat bottoms and lower half of the seat backs and I couldn't be happier!

It was way more comfortable than I even imaged. Is there a reason why you are so set on the stock molded foam?

My factory foam is completely shot. The seat frame has cut it to pieces. If it were in better shape I'd just repair it. There are a few still available from GM but I'm not ready to drop $175 on just the one. Looks like I'll make something work or find new seats.

My stock foam was completely shot too, same scenario. I am really happy with the craft store foam. I kept the stock foam for the shape, glued the craft store foam onto the stock foam making sure it followed all the same lines and creases. Good as new in looks, more comfortable than new, $16.

Anyway, whatever route you choose, good luck!

Dude on eBay sells them. Go to camarokingla.com and go to his 24hr parts store on eBay. He sells them for $69-$79 shipped
