GTO covers don't fit?
I thought I had checked the fit thoroughly, then modded a set of LS1 GTO fuel rail covers to fit the SS, but when I went to install them - the pins don't line up? Has anyone encountered and solved this problem (aside from getting GTO valve covers too)?

I ordered LS1 covers so they should have been, but I suppose anything is possible. I'll check for receipts tonight to confirm what model cover they are.

These have the metal clips just like my old corvette covers but they don't line up - just about 1/2" off?

I got them from GM for an '04 GTO figuring the LS1 covers would fit and LS1, so I can't really return them now that they are modified. I would like to get the part number from someone who has covers that fit.

I wouldn't worry about it unless they are making the covers look distorted or something like that.
Once the covers are snapped on to the fuel rail tubing, they aren't going anywhere.
If they don't sit right & it bothers ya, simply cut the clips & their towers off completely. Snap'em onto the tube & let them rest in place.
