I tinted my tails the other day. Turned out ok. Had to wet sand them and polish them.



My question for you guys that have done it too is if you tinted the center section? It kind of sticks out now. It's not a huge difference but I notice it.

I would assume that if you laid a few coats of the VHT on the center section and follow the same steps that it would match the tail lights. I would do it if it is bothering you.

Yes, I took my entire rear light "panel" off. Both tail lights & center section. I did them all at once with the exact same number of coats for the VHT & the clear just to ensure there wouldnt be any difference in appearance.

I think it looks good too. From that picture, it looks like you did the center section too.
