Black. My car is pewter and I painted my calipers black. Looks very good. Red might stick out to much.

I had red on my pewter z28, but looking back on it, I think black would look best with white trans am decals on the fronts.

Hey:

Red, all the way, Use Red VHT Brake caliper paint.... then VHT clear, then decals if doing them, then more VHT clear.

Mine are red and I like the accent. If you ever get black rims then you'll want something to break it up and red calipers are the perfect thing.

I vote black, even though you already made your choice. I am going to be polishing mine and painting any non-aluminum metals black.

Mine are red with black brackets. Black might be easier to keep clean.

how about no? yuck! Paint them silver, gun metal, copper, or burnt orange, and be done with it. You're going to get brake dust over it anyways. These colors look good with brake dust on them. Bright colors will look like **** after a week or so.
