Default Some new appearance mods for my Formula

I recently did a few appearance mods to my formula.

I bought an HVAC setup from a Camaro and installed it in my Firebird so I could make it light up blue like my stereo.

I think the ***** look much better in the car than the stock Firebird ones. The blue turned out great too. I used Blue LEDs in place of the stock bulbs.

I also recently cut off my ill fitted Loudmouth 2 up to the resonator and just dumped it from there.

It looks cleaner overall IMO. I've already gotten the comment "how did you get a v6 to sound like that?" lol

Here's a couple videos I made of the new exhaust:

This is a before video for reference:

It's quieter when I start it and at idle but I think it sounds much better at WOT. Overall I enjoy it and the new lighting in the car. Let me know what you think.

Love the blue interior look in the birds. Looks great. One question about the dump on the LM2. Did that cut the rasp any? It sounds great! Deeper than the before video. I love how mine sounds, but there is a spot of about 200 rpms just above 2k that drives me nuts!

I think it cut the rasp a bit. But I have a cat so my rasp isn't very much to begin with.

Ah yes that makes sense. No cats here. One more thing did you have to secure it anywhere?

Yes sir. The guy at the exhaust shop welded a hanger near the resonator. I'm sure it would bang around like crazy under there otherwise.

That looks good. if you want the hvac display to light up even brighter try the ones in the link. I have these in my Firebird hvac (in red though) and nothing even comes close to the brightness. They have extra smds that shoot sideways for a more even distribution of light. I used to have standard leds, but these are much better. ANYWAY, your car looks good overall

Sweet. Thanks for the link. How does the quality compare to superbrightleds? Are they plug and play? It seemed like they were in the ebay listing....but I wasn't sure.

It's cool how you made it match the radio, it's not cool how you made half your interior lighting blue and the other half red.

^^haha this reminds me of when I was converting my interior lighting to red. I definitely did not get it all done in one day, or one month for that matter...
I went through a lot of trial and error to get everything to light up as bright as possible. It is finally complete and I love the outcome.

Ode to Summer, good to see another Lostprophets fan on here. Have you considered getting black inserts in the Pontiac on the rear to match your taillights?

Yeah. I've looked into inserts. I'll definitely purchase some in the future.

I personally think the blue and red lights clash in the cabin. Perhaps look into an overlay or LED kit to match the guage cluster to the rest?

Yeah....I know. I intend to replace every bulb in the instrument cluster with a blue bulb.
