Default New pics! New wheels, Wolfe bar, paint PC'd. (lots of pics)

Took some quick (not the greatest quality) pics yesterday and thought Id share. Dont see to many roll bar pics. Used my new PC to buff the horrible swirls the previous owner left me and just finished installing the Wolfe 5 point bolt in the other day before a car show. Wheels i bought used with the tires on them.

Plenty more to do but let me know what you think!

PS: The exhaust is under contruction...hence the lack of exhaust tips and yes i would love a new hood. Im almost done saving for a H/C setup so the hood will have to wait a while.

ive had the car 5 years and the previous owners swirls have always bothered me

no more swirls!

Thanks for looking!

Wow, VERY clean T/A, looks great man! Don't mean to get off subject here, but I noticed that you had a Camaro style auto shifter. Did you put that on or did it come like that? Just curious that's all.

I put it on because I couldnt stand the big ol t-handle shifter it came with. I think the camaro one flows better. I posted a long time ago about it. Shortened the shifter shaft and put a camaro shifter on from a previous car. Free mod!!!

PM sent. Amazing fitment. Misses the door by less than a 1/4 inch and just rubs the seat a tad...which you have to expect a little. Couldnt be happier with it!

Any reason you decided to go with the 5 instead of the 6?

I was really looking into the 6 point but decided it wasnt needed. 5 point is more than enough with my future mods. It saved me some money, weight, and wont be a hassle for any passengers...the few that I get haha.

Your before/after of the swirls look great. Care to detail your process/pad/polish? Paint correction with a PC to that extent is very lengthy and I'm wondering if you used any products with filler.

Started with a good wash and went over the car with a meguiars clay bar. Used the PC with a LC orange pad and Meguiars Mirror Glaze #105 Ultra-Cut Compound. Then followed up with a LC white pad and Meguiars Mirror Glaze #205 Ultra Finishing Polish. Finished it up with some Mothers wax. Took about 8.5hrs with breaks but now zero swirls

Nice work - the few words you mentioned on the swirls in the OP didn't amount to the work you put into it! What size pad did you go with? Good to see more success stories with the new Meg's twins!
