Default 35th anniversary stripes peeling need something new

Here's a recent shot of my car. The 35th stripes have been peeling for a while but pretty much only I notice. I'd like to replace them with the shorter style that end on the front bumper. I was tossing around getting a gunmetal / grey color to match my wheels. Has anyone seen this color stripes on a Bright Red camaro? I cannot for the life of me find one picture.

I was also tossing around the idea of a grey manta ray but once again I've yet to see it.

Thanks Guys

i would get the shorter stripes and i would clear coat on top of them for extra protection and to prevent future peeling. How long have you had them? because i used to have a graphics shop and they shouldn't peel for a good 7-10 years if they are quality. I also like the darker idea. I just dont like the little checkers, if you did all solid it would look better, is that considered the manta? Sorry, firebird guy here

when i first bought my car the front bumper clear coat was gone and the stripes had peeled off really bad... so i had it repainted and found this place by googleing something and i only bought the top section, they had other colors and designs but i dont remember the company's name.... i wanted to do what you are wanting to do like my dad's 70 camaro stripes are but i just thought it didnt look "right"... so this is what i did and i think it looks 100x better. just throwin some options your way.

well in that case, ditch the stripes and keep the scoop decal, it will go well with the headlights

Thanks for the responses so far guys.

The car has been driven year round since I have been the owner (4 years or so) and the stripes were on the car before I bought it. Rain/Sleet snow so they seem to have done their job. Previous owner said they were from Phoenix
Graphics.

Yeah its no 35th anniversary car and I'm happy its not since I dont have a garage. The previous owner had SS badging on it too which I have removed.

So are your stripes the same stock color or slightly darker then?

Thanks so far guys!

3rdgendecals.com if you want to get a new set of 35th Anniversary stripes or any style stripe kit for a camaro, even the manta is available.

I bought a set of sideflags from them at the beginning of the year, no longer have these stripes on the car, but the silver metallic color they offer is a very close match to my OE 35th stripes. Just a bit darker but then again, there new compared to old stripes that are faded now. Just thought i would let you know...

I think I'm gonna go with them and just get the shorter style for the front bumper. I wish I could find a pic with a slightly darker grey color stripe but no ones gone that route on a Bright Red Camaro it seems.
