opinions on my graphics....see pics
I have installed my vinyl graphics on my SS. I combined a manta hood piece with the 35th anniversary stripes. Let me know what you think?

Re: opinions on my graphics....see pics
Thanks guys, I appreciate the kind words. As you know, the 35th anniversary uses a blackout in front of the scoop, but I decided to use the manta hood piece to black out the scoop itself. No one had done this combination yet, so I had no idea what it would look like, but was pleasantly surprised.
As far as installation of the vinyl, the stripes are easy, but the manta hood piece is a b*tch! Because the scoop has compound curves (curves in two directions at once), the vinyl wants to wrinkle on the sides of the scoop. You have to apply the top which is relatively flat and then do the sides last and use a hair dryer to help pull out wrinkles. I found it helpful to spray application fluid on the vinyl and rub out the wrinkles with my thumb as I stuck the vinyl down on the sides. This would split the wrinkle into two small wrinkles and then I would split those and so on and so forth until the wrinkles would disapear. It was an exercise in patience, but worth it.

Re: opinions on my graphics....see pics
By the way, Jay at 3rdgendecals.com where I got my graphics has posted my car pics on his site under the 35th anniversary section. All my pics are there (about 10 or more)if you are interested. Jay is a great guy and even went as far as talking to me on the phone for tips on installing the manta piece. I am very happy with his work and customer service, so feel it is only fair to give him a thumbs up.

Go to 35th anniversary section (click on left car pic top row) and my car is on the bottom row of pics in that section.

Upon hearing what you had done, I was at first
nervous that it might be a bit busy. BUT...
after seeing the pictures, I'll agree with
everyone else. That does like quite smooth.
