Default Can some one advise me on how to fix.....??

I have a very small dent in my passenger's side rear quarter panel....from my wife dinging it with a bag . Anyway, It is not extremely noticable, but it drives me nuts! I would say, it is half the size of a dime What are my options for fixing it, with out a major operation?
Thanks,
Jeff

What the heck was in the bag?

Take it to a body shop and get an estimate. I wouldn't mess with it, unless you know what you're doing. You could possibly make it worse.

If there is a dentless repair place near you, I'd take it there. I had one about the size of a quarter (damn rock) and you cannot tell it was ever there.

Anyway, she had been out of town, and she was unloading tons of stuff out of her car. Instead of making a few different trips, she just loaded up her arms, shut her door, and turned around and something hard hit my SS. We almost got divorced... !! Just kidding of course. She felt pretty bad about it.

dents are seriously the shittiest thing to fix not that they are hard to fix its just that every dent would cost about 30 maybe 40 bucks. I parked my car out once and got 7 hail dents (similar like yours) on the quarter pannels! Thank god it wasnt on the hood!

7 x 30 = $210!!

7 x 40 = $280!!

Dunno if any of yall seen this but sometimes they place this ad on TV about an item that removes dents? Dont know if someone tried that. Rumors say that the item doesnt work as good but I would at least look into it.

Sorry I dont know what it is called. Maybe someone could help me out. Im sure someone knows what im talking about...

I had a ding in my passenger-side quarter exactly the same size as yours. I went the paintless dent removal route....Dent Wizard removed it for $80 and about 15 minutes of my time. The guy running the shop also let me watch him remove the ding. I can't even tell where it was now.....much cheaper than a body shop and it requires no painting/blending and that other expensive body shop stuff!!!

If there is no crease, just a smooth dent, then you can use a trick someone told me about and I used on my old 97 Z-28 on the rear quarter panel....hmmm only metal section prone to dents. Anyway, heat your car with a hair dryer and don,t get too caried away, and then when it's hot, rub a plasic baggie full of dry ice on it and the drastic change in temperature will make the dent pull out due to the coeffecient of thermal expansion. It worked on my car and didn't hurt the paint. Also I put a wash rag between the plastic bag and car, don't want the plastic to stick to your car. It may take a few times to fully get it out. Has anyone else used this trick before?
