Check out photoshopped 4" VFN WS6 pic
One of our members ArticFormula 'shopped one of my pics and did this... I think it really gives folks a good idea of what it will look like with paint. Please note that the hood was never designed to be a 100% knockoff of stock only in 4"... The lines of the cowl are designed to make friendly for high manifolds, manifold mounted superchargers and other stuff.

4 inches higher in back than a a stock TA hood. Every bit of 4 inches, not 3.5 not 3.75.

She needs some grilles. But she looks FANTASTIC!!!!!
I was going to be getting this hood next week but I am comming up a little short on my other car so I gotta reach into my fund for the hood and to pay or the REAL hot rod.

SS prototype is looking very good, gonna take the prototype and put it on Henry's car and see how all the lines work together. I don't have much to say beyond that except that Layne has done a bangup job on the design we'll just see how it all looks on the test car.

Very nice indeed.I can sure appreciate the amount of work that went into designing and fabricating the new hood.
I was a fiberglass toolmaker for Boeing until they started offloading our work.
It's magnificent.

I don't care for the lines of the hood, does not follow very well with the lines of the car, however, awesome nontheless. I hope the SS hood follows our body lines better.

Yeah I think the hood is pretty neat and Layne from VFN has a lot of hours into the 4" WS6 hood. Remember, the hood is MORE of a race piece and so it's designed to create more space.
Anyone local want to stop by tomorrow at VFN while we trial fit the prototype SS hood on Henry's car? We'll be there ~5-6pm or so. Let me know I would need your name.

Yeah we will take some pics... What we are going to do is remove his current hood, probably the hinges too.
Then just lay the prototype in place. The prototype won't be complete, it's just the upper half. But I think the prototype looks really really awesome but I think the scoop might stand to go a little wider but then again I like the racier stuff.

I'll bring a digicam too, it rained here in chi-town so don't expect my Z to be as pristine looking, also missing my 5" spoiler, that would've been nice to see with.

I will be buying both the SS hood for my 99 SS and the 4 inch WS6 hood for my 00 WS6! Now, what kind of hood should the 98 Z28 get
