Weight of Factory hood

Anyone weigh their stock Z28 hood? I'm trying to see if going with an aftermarket hood would be worth it.

Probably a ~47-50 lbs for the Z hood.

The OEM SS hood I have (smashed) is 51 lbs.

I the seel hood weighs about 80 pounds. Old topic new day. The SS hood is about 30 less.

I have not weighed either part, but after reading f-body posts for 5+ years I have a few things memorized.
