Default Torque Thrust Wheels

Does anyone run the TT2 wheels with stock ride height and the 17x11 rears with 315/35/17 Nittos on them? Any rubbing issues. Please let me know offset for wheels, even better if some one had a picture of them on a red SS. Thanks in advance.

All 4 wheels are 17x9.5's with 285/40/17 rubber. I was going to get 17x11 in the rear, but I got a good deal on this set so went for it. I just recently bought a set of eibach sportline's (and all other suspension stuff needed) and will be dropping the car this spring

I cant remember the backspacing on the wheels but when you look at the catalog it list them as "17 by 11 for late model f body".The tires i had on the car were 315/35=17 nitto drag radials. But if you have a stock rear and a stock clutch you wont need them.I droped the car about 1.25" all the way around and it looks much nicer.

I will try to find some pics. for you.

Hey Dave.....this is weird, the rims won't give you another tenth ya know.Hard to remember you buying anything that isn't associated with speed these days Seriously though, nice taste.....I had been thinking of the same style for the pewter along with either those awesome Cragar ones they are sticking on the Hot Rod Maros or the new Pro Star XPs. I am still favoring the XP's only because I haven't seen another around our neck of the woods with them. But you know me...hell, the new Mickey Sportsman Pros are still in the back of the wagon smelling like rubber throughout! Good to meet up with ya on the net!!

I have the 11's on the rear of my car, here is a pic of it. I haven't had any rubbing issues at all, I test fit the 11's on the rear of my 98 that has G2 springs and they rubbed when hitting large dips in the road. More pics of the wheels at the link below.

Gomer, that is 1 fine ride you have there, thanks for the pictures and all the helpful info. Are those the stock size tires on the 17x11's. I talked to "Black sunshine" and he has TT2 wheels mounted with 335/35/17's on rear and no rubbing issues. But he has radials and not drag radials on his. I like the look, but want the drag radials for traction . thanks again.

Thanks! I'm running 315/35/17 Nitto Drag radials on the rear right now. They don't seem to be as wide as the sumitomo HTR Z's that I had on there before that were the same size. I go thru rears pretty quickly.. I haven't decided what I'm going to replace the nitto's with yet.

Gomer,
Nice ride dude! Looks sweet lowered like that with the Thrusts. Hey Red, stripes only cover 1/4 of your front end area....you need more than stripes dude Let's talk this spring....I have 2 more ZL1's to paint yet and things may get quiet for me this spring. We'll see what happens.

I have TT2's and am lowered 2" no rubbing at all.
I recommend a good Double adjustable panhard bar.

Ya, the reason mine dont rub with the 335's is because I have the lip rolled and the inners are hammered in a bit. Now it only rubs when I corner hard.

I had 315 Nitto DR on before this, and they did not rub at all, with the fender lip rolled. I gashed the tire the first day I had them, because of the fender lip. Once I rolled them, I had no more problems. This is with Eibach Pro springs. I have the stock springs in the car now, because of the 12 bolt I put in. It looks like ****!! Lowering springs are going in when I get the relocation brackets put in. Shoot me an email & I'll send you some good picks.

When I want good traction, I come home & throw on the ET's & skinnies. the weekend warriors know when I wanna play
