Default 2001 camaro tail light lenses

I was looking at my tail light lense on the ss and they are different than the 1998-2000. They are concaved right where the bulb is. Could it be from the previous owner installing the wrong bulbs? hawaii thinks it could be from the bulb putting out too much heat from wrong bulbs. What could be wrong I want my car to be the shizznit. Flawless is what my ride needs to be wassup!

Have you ever had blackouts on the back? They will not let the heat out and in the end result you tail lights will melt. Hope this helps!

That sounds logical but that is weird because I didn't know that stuff gets that hot and then at the same time kinda cool because they are perfectly even on both sides like they are supposed to be like that, I think I might keep them that way. Thanks

My friend with a 98 Camaro had the same thing happen to his tail lights. Neither of us noticed until six months after he got rid of his black outs. We both are guessing it's due to the covers.
