MBA Products------->
Actually I think it's just www.MBAproducts.com, I ordered about $400 worth of parts the other day. Still have a few things I need to get, but you won't beat the quality. They have an endless amount of interior/engine dress up pieces. I've got some hoses a buddy ordered for me from England. They are some of the best ones around, he had them on his EVO and I asked him to get me some (co-worker). They are bright red, not braidless or anything. You can do the !wire mod, which looks pretty cool. www.ls1speed.com has a little polishing service they got going for AC condensors, brake lines, etc. I did mine myself, but it adds a nice touch. Anyone else got any ideas?

Travis... because Stoleit posted a link (img) to it - obviously he is a fan of your engine bay and i would take it as a compliment

A few words of advice on the engine bay.. "paint it, plate it or polish it" Oh and its all about the details.. the big items will get them to look but the details make them stare

in a few weeks i should be able to start living in the present and posting pics of my new ride.. more engine pics and ideas at my website.. keep us posted on you results

Those are some really nice engine bays...So where is the best place to buy the braided hoses and where can you get your valve covers powdercoated or chromed?

I would recommend having your covers polished not chromed.

Steve started this madness.

Would a little scotchbrite shine my heads up a little? I d like to strip all my pulleys and polish or plate them. How much would plating run for something like that? I also have a hose kit I've been too lazy to put on.

Scotchbrite would just scratch the finish. As for plating I am not sure.

What would you recommend for shining the heads up a bit while they are still in the car?

It is really difficult, almost impossible. Eastwood has flexible extensions to reach they cost something like $200.

I don't really need a mirror shine, just want to get some oxidation off. Just make it look like new.

You should check out www.ls1speed.com. Go into the show styles section.

Yep, Samco sport in England, has a kit for LS1 corvettes, and F bodys. There is one guy that imports them into the US, I believe in California. The kit is around 180 bucks, for all the hoses. They come in a bunch of different colors, I'll try and find the link for you when I get home tonight.
