Just joined the Polisher Club
Yeah, did a little polishing when I was home over XMas. I saw a lot of people were polishing the evaporating canister in the engine bay, so I thought I'd give it a shot. I didn't have an electric or air tool, so I had to do it by hand, but it turned out pretty good. http://community.webshots.com/photo/...58954423evNUiF
But yeah, it's nice to join the club <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Nate, looks good, don't go crazy like Todd has. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> BTW, who's the maker of the blue bellows?

Re: Just joined the Polisher Club
Thanks for the compliment. As far as the bellow, my dad got it from where he works. I guess big diesel trucks have something similar, and that's how he says he got it. So yeah, just ask around at a local Diesel Tech or something, they could probably hook you up.

By the way, that looks good, I polished mine the same way.

Re: Just joined the Polisher Club
Only took about 30 min. I know I'm not hardcore yet but I put most of my time into waxing the car. But yeah, like I said, I just did it by hand, used Mother's Aluminum Polish, or metal polish (can't remember sorry), and yeah, applied with a 100% cotton terry cloth. Took a couple applications but like I said, looks excellent for 30 min of work.
