Default No-Rinse car wash. Need Opinions!

I've moved to Germany recently and cannot wash my car like I'm used to.
I'm looking into no-rinse products but have a few questions.

1. Do any of you have experience with no-rinse/waterless car washes? If so, what is your opinion on which product?
2. How do these work with wax? I'm assuming they leave a residue. If so, can you apply wax over it?

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

The most popular no rinse product ive seen is Optimum No Rinse. I've never personally used it but a ton of people swear by it.

I always wash my car with Optimum No Rinse and it works like a charm. as long as the car doesnt have mud on it you will be good.

I hate it but that's just me. I just don't feel as if the car is clean enough as it would been with a regular wash. That's just my opinion. I understand different circumstances but if I had access to a regular wash, I would go that route.

I'd say go for it, but like previous post stated- as long as you dont have a lot of dirt, mud or grime on it. I saw similar stuff at a gas station in Los Angeles over the summer. The sales reps were there and they were pushing this stuff hard. It litterly was spray on and wipe off. It appeared to work well on my rental car but my only feeling is that your just rupping all the dust and dirt onto the finish of your car creating tons of fine scrathes and over time will look like crap. I guess it all depends on what color your car is as well. Black car- no thanks. White or Silver- sure.

Optimum No Rinse is hands down the best out there. It's used by top detailers in the industry. It may sound scary or "too good to be true"....but trust me, it works and is safe. Anyone who says otherwise has either not tried it, or is uneducated and behind the times in detailing technology, and don't know what they're talking about!

Thanks for the info/advice y'all. One last question: Can you polish and/or wax your car after using this stuff or does it leave a film on your car?

Yes. Doesn't affect waxing/polishing what so ever. It's just a means to clean the paint, not rocket science.

+1 on the ONR. I use it all winter on my DD's and it works great. No problems with waxing and/or polishing after either. Works great when mixed as a QD as well..

On www.autopia.org, Optimum No rinse has been used for years by some pro detailer's, I have it and use it, great stuff.
The guy in this video is one of the most highly respect detailers in TX and he tests for several major brands, see his other videos too, ONR also makes a great Quick detailing spray and clay lube too when mixed correctly.

I've used both Optimum No Rinse as well as Quick and Easy Wash for years (since 2004-2005 if I remember correctly), and is still the only thing I use to clean my Camaro. It works well, and if done properly, will not harm your paint in any way, shape or form. I actually found it to be the most convenient once I got a good method down...you can wash and dry small sections of the car at a time, so you don't get any spotting.

I was very skeptical at first, but after trying it one time, I was sold. I used to live at an apartment complex with no garage, so that was the only way I could hand wash my car besides going to a wand wash, all of which in that area did not want you hand washing your car. I now live in a house with a 3 car garage, but still only use the no rinse washes even though I have unrestricted access to a hose.

The biggest advantage to using the ONR (or similar product) is you don't have to take the car out of the garage......especially in hot or cold conditions. The cold /cool paint surface won't allow the dirt to get embedded down into the paint surface.
