Exclamation Are 4th Gen F-Body Seats Interchangeable??

I was wondering if all 4th gen f-body seats are interchangeable? Can you put seats from a ls1 Trans Am in to a LT1 Camaro? If not what do I need to do to get them to fit?
Thanks

Yep! 1982 ~ 2002 Birds and Camaros

Rears (bottom) on the thirdgens are a little longer so they take some convincing to get them to 'shove' in there. In your case, you'll have no problems.

Not sure if the connectors are the same. But all you need is 12v power. So if the connector is not the same, just splice, solder, secure...

I've got '99 Firebird seats in my '98 Z28 and the driver side power connector is the same and my power seat operates as it should. The only thing that you might have an issue with is the Firebird seats that have the adjustable power lumbar supports...there's an additional harness and/or connector that's needed to make that part of the seat work in Camaro's.

the passenger seat has the compressor to inflate both seats' supports. the driver seat is the only seat that has a power motor to adjust the bottom. all of the backrests are manual. there is a jumper harness that goes from the driver seat to the passenger seat. it contains electrical and air hose connections. the power lead for the seat is under the driver seat, sometimes tucked under the carpet. its an orange and black 2 wire gig that plugs right into any 4th gen seat, 3rd i don't know.
