Racing harness seat belt pics...Look good, or pain in the ***?
Anybody have an opinion on the way these things on the way they would look, work? Practical, comfortable, or just plain out pain in the *** to strap yourself in for everyday driving and it just isn't worth the monster wedgy if you hit the brakes hard.

Racing harnesses cant be annoying for a daily driver, but thats really a personal question, if you want to strap in everyday, i actually find them more comforable than the regualr belt system in cars, but like i said its all personal here's two pics i have here, nothing specail but it would give you the idea, stock seats with harnesses and a set of racing seats with the harnesses

I think they're Corbeau Carreras.

Agreed, I wouldn't have racing harnesses unless the car went low-mid 10s. I kept my race seat in a lot because I was too lazy to change it out every weekend, but a roll cage/race harness isn't my cup of tea unless the car really needs it.

roll cages can be hard to install or they can be a piece of cake depending on your welding experience, if you get the bolt in version then i think almost anyone could do it but its something that wouldnt be a piece of cake.and Depending on what type of cage you want there is alot out there. I personally like the wolfe racing design because of the bent side bars to allow easier aces to the seating and the over the seat bars in the back that mount through the speaker holes in the hatch.. look around different sponsors and see what they have to offer

with the type of cars that we have and the ways in which most of us push our cars (speeding, racing, whatever) there is not really an aspect of overkill. Besides is protecting urself overkill? Those side impact bars might come in handy some day if u get t-boned especially bc side impact blows on our f-bods if i remember correctly.
If u ask me its a cool look thats functional (not rice), improves driver and passenger safety, increases chasis strength, and its one of my future mods.

I have corbeau harnesses with my TRSs, and they are comfortable with the pads. Without pads, they're not the greatest, but with pads they are more comfortable than normal seatbelts.

I don't really care for the seatbelts because you can't lean forward, say if you drop something in the floor, you're gonna have to unbuckle the belt to get to it. But other than that, they look killer.
