I am going to install mine probably this weekend, it is a 5" monster tach and I don't know where to put it. It is going to be by the A pillar or in the middle of the dash by the AC vent.

5" tachs with a shift light? Maybe I'm alone here, but I hope there is just the one guy!

I've got a supercharged car with nitrous, and I can't see why I would ever need a tach that big.

Besides, there is some poor ricer out there that went to the store to buy his only to find the shelf was empty that day.

What's wrong with replacing our slow factory tachs? I can see where you would look down on someone with an auto car but if you have a M6 then it comes in handy. I think mine looks good. It all comes down to what each person likes and dislikes. Later.

I like a big tach so it's easy to see when racing. You don't have much time to look when racing so a big tach is good. I don't think it's rice at all. Go post that in the drag forum and you'll see how non rice a big tach is.

It is just as big as the factory tach but the difference is thats is ACCURATE. If you would stop ***** footin your ride around you might find that out. You just don't like the placement. A shiftlight would serve the same purpose but I like to see my rpms and be able to adjust my light with the turn of a ****.

<shrug> I kinda like just my shift light... harlans, mounted in the defroster vent, works very well. Everything else is done off sound, I'm usually beginning my shifting motion just before the light pops on anyways, so <shrug> All I really want is an oil pressure and a temp gauge <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> hehe

I live my life 26 miles at a time - my commute to work! You know, I don't usually change my mind much...but the more I look at that tach, the more I like it.

I was just busting on you guys with that ricer comment.
