Default Did I buy the right Zaino products?

I got the Z-7 wash, and the Z-2 and Z-5. I also got one applicator, and some soft cotton towels.

Did I miss anything? Was I supposed to buy anything else?

Also, what order do I apply them in? Obviously wash first, but then Z-2 and then Z-5 or the other way around?

either z-1 or zfx. I'd get zfx because it makes it set up faster.

yep Matt you need a clay bar of some sort to remove the contaminents off of your car otherwise they will be sealed in by the zaino. use dawn dishwashing soap or equivalent to wash the car to remove any wax still on the car. then use the z-1 or zfx. if you use the zfx you can keep applying coats right after one another.

I've got a clay bar that I used once on my car a while back. I can still use it I'm assuming right? So I wash with Z-7 first, then use Z-1 with the claybar, and then Z-2 and then Z-5?

Some one correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that if you are going to use the clay bar, you would want to remove the existing wax first. You would do this by washing the car with the Dawn soap first, then clay bar. After that, you would use the wax to seal and polish. The Z-7 would be used to wash the car afterwards. Hope this helps.

Make sure your clay isn't real dirty and knead it VERY often.
Here's the order I done mine in:

wash with dawn then dry, clay(using z-6 to keep it slick),wash with dawn then dry, add zfx to z2 or 5 or put on z-1 let dry then z-2 or 5,z-6, then start over and put the 2nd coat of z-2 or 5 on.

Makes for a long tiring day but well worth it when it's all over. I think it works out to going over the car by hand like 10 times or something.

I stock up on the clays, this is the first thing I'm doing when the warm weather hits again, my car needs it after seen its few trips in the snow/salt, the car has been sitting for like a week and a half with salt on it...

I use a lot of Z2 and Z5 and ZFX, can't never get enough of that spray wax, the car wash is excellent too, same with the leather interior stuff...

Can't wait for warmer car detailing weather...

Most questions can be answered on the Zaino webpage. There is ALOT of info about their products, their application, tips and tricks and FAQ's.

Most people have been starting with Z-2 polish, Z-6 enhancer spray, Z-7 wash, Z-18 clay bar and the ZFX additive. If you have alot of swirls you also want to get the Z-5 polish, which is a thicker version and better for filling the swirls.

The prep, washing with Dawn and claying, getting the surface back to being smooth as glass, is needed to get the optimum results from whatever product you plan to use. Prep isn't a Zaino thing.
